Gin & Juice, Cardiff

The first Gin and Juice bar in Cardiff opened its doors in Dec 2017. Owned by Charlotte and Steven Barker, this lively bar is one in a line of ventures for the couple. Originally opening a coffee shop in 2010, three years later they expanded their cafe. Next they opened Barker Tea in High Street Arcade and then Barker Gelato. The couple are really making their mark in the capital and hope to take that even further with this bar venture. Gin and Juice is located in Castle Arcade, at the same place of residence as their cafe and gelato ice cream parlour. By day a cafe, by night a bar. Currently holding 150 different gins, they plan on raising their game and adding to their ‘gin library’ by having a round figure of 300 by the end of 2018.

The bar has a laid back, New York vibe, with music and decor to match. The walls are covered in portraits of iconic artists, so you can drink among the famous! There is even a snug where you can hide away from the world for a short while.
