You don’t need to know about seafood to know the team at The Lobster Pot is passionate about their food. They have been serving the freshest seafood since 1946 and continue to, by sourcing their lobsters and crabs from holding tanks, just next door! These come from the original owners grandson, who has a shellfish merchant business. Their mussels are also supplied by another grandson, straight from his mussel boat, The Mare Gratia. That’s one of the things that makes The Lobster Pot so special - the close-knit family, whose business spans more than 70 years, making a living out of something they love.You couldn’t run a seafood restaurant and not be close to the sea! The Lobster Pot is situated in a stunning seaside location in Holyhead. Having once been a cottage, the restaurant aims for a simple, friendly, informal atmosphere. They have an A La Carte menu but often have specials caught in the bay, depending on the season. And, if you really aren’t a seafood lover, or you fancy something else, then they also offer a great selection of steaks from their award-winning local butcher.
